The Role:

Lead UI Designer

The Collaboration:

I partnered directly with the Project Lead (Data Analyst) to bridge the gap between a complex SQL database and the end-user. While colleagues handled broad user surveys, my focus was Interface Architecture.

The "Design Engineer" Win:

I designed the Filtering Taxonomy (Light, Soil, Lifecycle) and High-Fidelity UI systems, transforming raw botanical data into a mobile-first field tool. Originally built for the Philadelphia ecosystem, the scalable design foundation I established has since been expanded to serve the entire United States.

Challenge:

A nature-based Waldorf cooperative needed a web presence that handled modern logistics without feeling "corporate" or "tech-heavy."

The "Product Design" Win:

I architected a site that balanced Operational Efficiency with Brand Alignment.

• Visual Language: I developed an "Organic UI" system featuring rounded edges and soft palettes to mirror their tactile, nature-based curriculum.
• Operational UX: I digitized their core workflows—implementing Online Registration, Digital Donations, and Sample Schedules—reducing administrative friction for the founders while showcasing the staff's experience to build trust with prospective parents.
